Tena koutou katoa e te whanau, Kapa Haka is now up and running and we have an exciting year ahead of us. Kapa Haka is held in the school MPR at 1.40-3.00 pm every Friday. We have a good mixture of Year 7 to 10 students who are committed and willing to give 100% as we delve into the realm of Maori performing arts. We have now started our programme and the passion and excitement is evident. The students will be learning a range of Maori waiata from all of the rohe as well as a performance bracket. The Hato Anaru Kapa Haka group will have ample opportunities this year for performances around school so watch this space. Naku noa Whaea Casey
